Sam and Bob are trying to play cards but have lost the nine of diamonds. Downing shots of bourbon and talking nonsense, about commerce, California, redemption, the good ol’ US of A, genocide, Hitler, sea lions and stuff like that. A modern day Vladimir and Estragon who aren’t waiting for Godot – nor for the audience to keep up – the play is a laugh-out-loud anarchic and surreal comedy that surprises and provokes in spades… or the nine of diamonds…
