Evocative Americana & roots from North Carolina

 Violet Bell’s brand of original Americana is woven from the varied threads of folk, soul, bluegrass and a touch of classical music. With soaring violin, driving guitar, clawhammer banjo and atmospheric vocals, the duo makes a full and riveting sound. Talented songwriter Lizzy Ross and superlative multi-instrumentalist Omar Ruiz-Lopez have a fiery onstage chemistry, with fine musicianship complemented by Lizzy’s truly sensational voice. Touring across the USA from their base in North Carolina, Violet Bell have performed well over 250 shows since forming in 2016, delivering enthralling live performances and building up a loyal following in their home state. Their debut full-length album Honey in My Heart was released in September 2019, and summer 2020 will see the debut UK tour of this hugely talented twosome.
