Raising Funds for Bishop’s Castle Twinning Association

Bishops Castle is Twinned with St Marcel in Nomandy in France-Twin towns are towns or cities in different countries which are paired to encourage human contact and cultural links. Twin towns often (but not always) have similar populations, industries and other characteristics.

They are trying to host a young persons exchange between our two Karate clubs next July, so will need extra funding to support this and raise the profile of the association.

About the Film:
A lively comedy set in 17th-century France,  Imprisoned for debt, playwright Molière is rescued by an aristocrat who needs his help in order to seduce a young marquise.
In 17th-century France, playwright and actor Molière (Romain Duris) has his debts paid off by Monsieur Jourdain (Fabrice Luchini), freeing him from debtors prison. In return, Jourdain asks for acting lessons so he can win the heart of the beautiful widow Célimène (Ludivine Sagnier) by performing a short play for her. Presented to Jourdain’s family as the priest Tartuffe, Molière begins to fall in love with Monsieur Jourdain’s disregarded wife, Elmire (Laura Morante).
